Best Indo chinese in town. Chilly chicken and fried rice are my personal favs! Chicken lolly pop and spring rolls are good too. The hot and sour chicken soup takes the cake for me...comfort food for the chill! Its reasonably priced too! Go visit!

A little while ago, I bought dinner for my crew at Everest Hakka. Funny thing, the same crew and I were working on another client and I had to do a food run. It was Hakka again! No surprise huh?
So...let's do roughly the same dishes and compare.
Got the Chilli Chicken dry and with gravy, some noodles, and an extra dish - this time dry Ginger Beef.
The CC with gravy was spicy and really good! Great flavour and just the right amount of spicy heat! The dry version - not so much but when mixed with the gravy version, it did get better. The Dry Ginger Beef - average. The Village Hakka Noodle was also better than expected.
All in all a 3 star meal.
Note...parking here is a nightmare. People not knowing where the parking limits are set. Snow banks not properly cleared and young drivers thinking that they will be come the next great Indian F1 racer -uhm...I don't think there was ever one of those...RIGHT!!! There wasn't! For the sake of all others, please slow down...it's a parking lot! I have no idea why they laugh and comment about Asian drivers! HoHum...ugh!
Cheers. -

Worst Chinese ever. I have never had such bad chinese in my life. The food was bland, noodles so thick that I could use it as a broom. Completely tasteless.

In the neighbourhood and wanted to have a sit down lunch rather than a quick serve and this place close by.
After lunch on a Sunday and still a few tables occupied as we were expecting an empty restaurant. The two girls in duty were quick to make us seat give us a menu, serve us water and was back to take orders in a couple of minutes.
Ordered a Veggie Manchurian and a Veggie Fried Rice. The steamed rice was included with the Veggie Manchurian. Requested that there be no or very little oil for the dishes. The dishes were out of the kitchen within a couple of minutes - literally. As if they knew what we were going to order and had them ready!
The Manchurian was quite good actually and the pakoras were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. The sauce had a perfect blend was spicing and seasonings. The rice was OK. It seemed like the request for oil was not heeded or this was the low oil version - which was too much for us.
The price of food compared to the atmosphere (was meh!) was high. -

Horribly managed. They don't even open on time or answer their phone during business hours when the doors are locked with guests waiting to have lunch during their lunch break.
